Air Race Mr. Murotani is an instructor Pilot young people training program start July 26, 17:06

Yoshifumi Muroya, an internationally active pilot based in Fukushima City, started a training program for young people, and three high school students challenged for the first time.

This training program was launched by Mr. Muroya, who is known as the world champion of air races three years ago, in order to develop future aviation leaders.

At Fukushima Sky Park, an airfield in Fukushima City, the first training was conducted on a schedule from 24th to 3 days, and three high school students from Niigata and Shiga prefectures who passed the preliminary examination participated.

On the 26th, visibility was poor due to fog and flight training was not conducted. However, practical training to check the weather and how to read the instrument, and training with an instructor to run on the runway were conducted.

The students were eager to listen to the guidance of Mr. Muroya and worked on the operation of the aircraft.

A 16-year-old high school boy from Shiga prefecture said, "I was aspiring to fly at Muroya's acrobatics. As I thought about seeing Muroya's flight, I wanted to be a pilot. I would be happy if more people would like to see it."

Mr. Muroya said, "Since excellent students have gathered, I would like to provide a good environment in cooperation with prefectures and cities so that it will become a cornerstone to pull the next generation." ..

Students aim for pilot qualification in a curriculum of approximately one year.
