Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chair of the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, has launched the updated strategic roadmap for the authority, which outlines the main axes that will enable Dubai Culture to fulfill the role stipulated in its founding law as a planner, organizer, feasible and operator , Which contributes to the renaissance of the cultural and creative sector in the emirate, and enhances its endeavors to support the vital cultural system of the city and confirm the prosperity of its creative economy.

Dubai Culture Director Hala Badri said: “The Authority seeks, through the axes of its updated strategy, to consolidate the pivotal role it plays in supporting the government's directions to stimulate economic growth in Dubai by developing an innovative creative system with a solid infrastructure and an effective operational framework, This would leave a positive societal impact and an effective contribution to the emirate's GDP. ”

The second axis is empowering participation, and aims to make culture everywhere and for everyone by integrating art and creativity within the spaces of the city of Dubai, stimulating effective participation by all groups of society, and involving them in the process of building a sustainable creative future for the emirate. As for the third axis, it is to support the creative economy in Dubai by creating an economic system that stimulates creativity, which includes attracting promising talents to the business world, to invent creative and marketable products, which contributes to enhancing the performance of the creative economy in a tangible way, and this is achieved by creating a business environment that supports culture and arts, It is governed by regulations and policies that promote ease of doing business.
