At 11:13 on July 25, Beijing time, China used the Long March 4 Yiyao 45 carrier rocket at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center to successfully launch three satellites including the Ziyuan 3 03 satellite, and the satellite successfully entered the scheduled orbit. The mission was a complete success.
Ziyuan-3 03 is a high-resolution three-dimensional surveying and mapping satellite, developed and produced by the China Academy of Space Technology under China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The Ziyuan-3 03 satellite will be networked and operated with other surveying and mapping satellites such as the Ziyuan-3 01 and 02 satellites in orbit, providing a stable basis for new basic surveying and mapping, the construction of global geographic information resources, the normalized monitoring of geographic national conditions, and emergency mapping guarantees. Data support, while taking into account the application needs of resource investigation, ecological environment monitoring, disaster prevention, mitigation and disaster relief, etc., to better provide basic guarantee for national economic construction and social development.
