The Ministry of Religious Affairs in Tunisia announced the killing of a worshiper as a result of his assault in a mosque in the Chebniyana delegation in the governorate of Sfax.
The ministry, in a statement broadcast on the Tunisian radio station «Mosaique» today, Saturday, that the victim was subjected to a terrible attack yesterday, Friday, which led to his death from his wounds after he was transferred to Jebniana hospital.
She drew attention to the fact that Al-Qaim had suffered a heart attack the same evening, after which he died in his home after afternoon prayers, apparently from the crime committed hours ago.
The Ministry stressed the need for God's homes to be safe, in which rituals can be held in reassurance and peace, declaring its absolute solidarity with its mosque frameworks against all those who are morally or financially affected.
The Ministry affirmed its commitment to follow up the incident in light of what will be proven by the investigations and what will be decided by the judicial judicial authorities, and to carry out all the necessary legal procedures.
