Prime Minister Jean Castex announced on Friday the generalization of screening tests for the coronavirus on arrival at French airports. He said these tests would be mandatory for travelers coming from 16 countries.

He further recommended that the French should not go to Catalonia. The Spanish region is experiencing a surge in coronavirus cases and has re-established population containment to contain the spread of the virus.
