People's Artist of Russia, author of the image of a bear cub - the mascot of the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in Moscow, Viktor Chizhikov, was buried at the Vostryakovskoye cemetery of the capital.
RIA Novosti informs about it with reference to the representative of the Russian Cultural Foundation.
“Viktor Chizhikov was buried,” she said.
The funeral service for the artist was held in the Church of St. John the Baptist.
Viktor Chizhikov died on July 20 at the age of 85.
