Les Chevaliers du Fiel, April 13, 2018. - J. Benaroch / Sipa

Like every summer, the radio stations take advantage of the break to do their shopping. The Chevaliers du Fiel will join Rire & Chansons and will be replaced on France Bleu by Willy Rovelli, the two radio stations announced on Monday.

A three-minute chronicle

The duo of Toulouse comedians presented on France Bleu since 2012 one of the most popular morning pastilles. The comedian Willy Rovelli, noticed on Europe 1 or on France 2, succeeds them at 8:55 from Monday to Friday, said public radio. From August 31, the new Chronicle of the Knights, "The guest of the Knights of Fiel", will be broadcast at 8:10 am and 6:10 pm on Rire & Chansons, said NRJ, the parent company of the radio skits. Eric Carrière and Francis Ginibre will perform different characters there for three minutes.

Omnipresent on stage, on radio and on TV (on C8), owners of three theaters in Toulouse and Avignon, the Chevaliers du Fiel will record these chronicles from Paris or Toulouse, according to their agenda. They were already on the air at Rire & Chansons in the early 2000s, before moving to Sud Radio.

A veteran of the FM band launched in 1989, Rire & Chansons saw its audiences decline at the start of the year, to 2.6% of cumulative audience (-0.4 point over one year), or 1.4 million daily listeners, according to figures from Médiamétrie.
