Nicki Minaj will have waited a bit before sharing the news with her fans. The American rapper announced on Monday that she was expecting her first child, posting sophisticated photos of her and her already well rounded belly on her Instagram account.

"Blistered"
The 37-year-old New Yorker, born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Queens, attached the following message to one of these snaps: “Love. Wedding. Pram. I am overflowing with excitement and gratitude. Thank you all for your best wishes ”. Kneeling, dressed in a richly decorated bikini and shod in elongated stilettos, sporting curly yellow hair, she also wrote "blistered" in the caption of another photo, true to her provocative style and the harsh words of her video clips.
Nicki Minaj is married to a head of the American music industry, Kenneth Petty. She surprised her fans last September by announcing that she was retiring to focus on her family life. She then returned to this announcement and promised to release new titles, in the wake of her hits, which include "Starships", "Bang Bang" and "Super Bass".
