They are all members of the same family. Five children perished Monday evening in a road accident on the A7 Motorway in the Drôme and four other people - three adults and a child who were in the same vehicle - remained in absolute urgency, said prefect Hugues Mouthou .
The prefect specifies that the accident had occurred in Albon, in the South-North direction. “It’s off the road in a field,” he explained, citing the track as a technical problem. The Ministers of the Interior, Gerald Darmanin and of Transport, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari are expected on site in the coming hours, said the prefect.
