Chuo University training camp: 2 new infections, 13 clusters in total: July 20th 17:50

Up to now, 11 students have been confirmed to have been infected, and two new students were confirmed to have been infected at a camp at Chuo University in Hachioji, Tokyo.

According to Hachioji City, etc., two students living in a training camp in the sports department of Chuo University in the city were newly infected on 16th of this month.

The two people had a negative test the day before, but the next day they had fever and other symptoms, so they tested again and became positive.

At this camp, 11 students have been confirmed to have been infected so far, and now 13 have been infected.

The symptoms are mild or asymptomatic and they are being treated at medical institutions and hotels.

In addition to this, two students were living in a camp, but the PCR test was negative.

The city believes that a cluster has occurred at the training camp and investigates the route of infection, and is further confirming whether there are any concentrated contacts outside the training camp.
