Ikritina Alexandrovskaya, a 20-year-old snowboarding champion, committed suicide yesterday, Saturday, in the Russian capital, Moscow.
The Russian news agency (Sputnik) reported that the incident was more akin to suicide, and the matter is being investigated, as the young woman left a message containing the word "I love you".
It is noteworthy that Alexandrovskaya was presenting skating shows individually at first, then turned into doubles. After a while she changed her sporting nationality to Australian, where she and her partner Harley Windsor became world champion for ice skating in 2017.
