Medical masks have been a source of controversy since the Corona pandemic began in the world. While many doctors and scientists recommend them and many governments are obligating their citizens to wear them, there are other opinions that question the effectiveness of masks against the Corona virus. But skeptics may be forced to change their mind after the Canadian company (i3 BioMedical Inc.), in cooperation with scientists from the University of Toronto, created a medical mask that can eliminate the Corona virus within minutes, according to the German Merkur website.

The company said in a media statement that the University of Toronto team of scientists tested the effectiveness of the muzzle, which is called (TrioMed Active Mask Type IIR), and confirmed the ability of its external layer to nullify the Corona virus by more than 99 percent, as stated on the RTL website German. The company statement added that the new corona virus remains on the surface of normal masks for at least 7 days, according to studies, but the new muzzle destroys the virus in minutes thanks to its anti-microbial technology, which reduces the risk of infection in an unprecedented way.
"This is the first and only medical muzzle that has been scientifically proven to neutralize the effect of the Corona virus," Pierre Jean Messier, chairman of the company that produced the muzzle, said in a statement reported by News Wire. Messi added: "We have spent millions over many years to reach this microbial resistance technology, and our products are used by medical teams all over the world and have been tested by third parties who have proven their quality." The statement also said that the new muzzle had succeeded in eradicating other types of diseases, such as Mersa (methicillin-resistant streptococcus aureus) and the virus responsible for influenza.

The new medical mask is a breakthrough in the face of coronavirus infection. According to what the RTL website reported from a periodical study (American Journal of Infection Control), a person touches his face an average of 23 times per hour. When it touches the surface of the normal medical mask, which the virus might be present, a person may transmit the infection to himself if he touches his face afterward. This muzzle also has a shelf life of five years, which makes it highly practical, especially for medical personnel.
And the rushing of people to buy the new mask led to the depletion of the quantity allocated to individuals, according to the website. The company asked customers to wait for the mask to become available again, as the company prioritizes health workers. According to the Merkur website, the new mask is priced at $ 9.99 (6.45 euros).
