No place for everyone. About 585,000 high school students have been offered admission on the Parcoursup university platform but 9,500 are still waiting for places, more than last year when they were 6,000, announced, on Friday, the Minister of Higher Education, Frédérique Vidal.

A record bac success

These 585,000 high school students represent "88.2%" of high school students registered on the platform, said the minister on Franceinfo, a few hours before the end of the main phase of Parcoursup which ends at midnight. It is true that success in the baccalaureate has, this year, known a record rate, in a particular health context.

Nearly 96% of the 745,900 candidates for the bac were received at the end of the first remedial session, i.e. 7.6 points more than in 2019.
