According to Lu Shenghua, on July 13, the members of the Blue Panther Rescue Team in Nanchang, Guizhou, and Luoyuan, Fujian arrived in Tongxing Village, Youdun Street Town, and the entire village was flooded. According to their understanding, a small number of villagers in the village were transferred to relatives and friends in the county, and most of them still live in houses in the village. "The village is basically small buildings with two or three floors, and one floor is flooded, and they live upstairs."
Lv Shenghua mentioned that there are more than a thousand households in Tongxing Village who stay in the village. Due to the inconvenience of access, six or seven hundred villagers urgently need materials such as water and food. In the past two days, they sent water, rice, oil and other materials donated by Guizhou Jiangxi Chamber of Commerce to various households through rescue boats. If there are villagers who need to go out urgently, they also undertake temporary ferry work. "If the flood level continues to rise or there is another heavy rain, we will arrange for an emergency transfer."
During the rescue, Lu Shenghua learned that the young people in the village rushed to the front line to protect the dam during the early days of the flood, while the elderly and children stayed at home. When the goods are delivered to the door, the old people often distribute water and food to the volunteers of the rescue team. Lu Shenghua said, "The young people in the village guard the dam on the front line, and we help them guard the small family in the rear."
