Murdered males in Chiba Sanmu Arrested five men on suspicion of robbery and murder July 16, 18:24

In February last year, five men were arrested on suspicion of robbery and murder of a 71-year-old man who had invaded a factory of a wood processing company in Sanmu City, Chiba Prefecture. One of the five has been charged with being involved in an "Apo electric robbery" incident in Tokyo, and police are investigating further details.

All five were arrested, including unemployed Junpei Otake (27), unemployed, Susumu Kataoka (31), and Akira Yamanaka* (27).

According to police, the five people invaded a lumber processing company's factory in Sanmu City, Chiba Prefecture, in February last year for robbery, and wrapped adhesive tape around the nose and mouth of Mr. Kazuo Sakita (71) who is working as a resident. There is a suspicion of robbery and murder for killing.

Police proceeded with the investigation based on images from security cameras, and arrested the alleged five people were involved.

It has not disclosed whether it has been suspected as being a hindrance to future investigations.
