The Disney + streaming platform will host in 2021 the spin off of The Clone Wars, Star Wars: The Bad Batch . The animated series will focus on the special Bad Batch squad, after the Clone Wars. The squad, an elite clone troop, had appeared at the end of The Clone Wars , in episode 7.
From elite clones to superpowers
Like the three musketeers who were four, the gang of four soldiers at the start of the film had joined a fifth accomplice. The four complemented each other with their special talents. As for the latter, his terrible experiences had made him a cyborg.
Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshairs, Tech and Echo will find themselves in a galaxy controlled by the Empire and will have to fight to survive, with their armor identifiable among all as members of the Grand Army of the Republic. Fortunately, they have the magic weapon: almost superpowers.
Are we going to mix the Star Wars universe with that of superheroes? Answer next year.
