Henan Jiaozuo Kindergarten poisoning case opened: confession wanted to retaliate against colleagues, "have not considered children"
On the morning of July 15, 2020, Wang Yun, a kindergarten teacher in Jiaozuo, Henan, was openly heard in the Jiaozuo Intermediate People's Court in connection with the crime of placing dangerous substances and intentionally injuring.
During the court trial, the procuratorial organ accused Wang Yun of two criminal facts. One is intentional injury: On February 19, 2017, Wang Yun put the sodium nitrite purchased online from her husband Feng Moufei's drinking glass, causing the latter to be poisoned and hospitalized. After identification, Feng Moufei's injury reached minor injuries. The second is the release of dangerous substances: On March 27, 2019, Wang Yun put sodium nitrite into the overtime bowl of the Chinese lunch in the kindergarten, causing 25 children to be poisoned, including 1 death, 21 minor injuries and 1 minor injury .
Wang Yun is a teacher of Mengmeng Preschool Kindergarten (Private) in Jiefang District, Jiaozuo City. On March 27, 2019, Wang Yun put sodium nitrite into the eight-treasure porridge of middle school students, causing many children to be poisoned. One of the young children died 10 months after being rescued.
Wang Yun confessed in court and was responsible for the small class. On March 26, 2019, he and the middle class teacher Sun Mou had a conflict with the student management problem of the child fighting. They thought that Sun Mou sued the principal and wanted to avenge Sun Mou. During the court trial, Wang Yun admitted that the eight-treasure porridge in the rice bowl was eaten by middle-class children, but said that poisoning it was "against Sun Mouzhen" because Sun Mouzhen "sometimes tastes it."
What children will do after eating, it said, "the children were not taken into consideration at that time."
The surging news hearing heard that Wang Yun was poisoned for the second time, using sodium nitrite that he had purchased by poisoning his husband.
During the court trial, the families of the injured child filed a criminal incidental civil lawsuit, demanding that the criminal responsibility of Wang Yun be investigated, and that the kindergarten bear joint and several liability for compensation. In addition to medical expenses, nutritional expenses, etc., most of the defendants demanded compensation of 50,000 yuan for mental comfort.
Earlier, Ms. Zhang, the mother of the deceased child, told Peng Mei News that the civil compensation lawsuit filed by her family will not be heard this time, and a special court will be held thereafter.
