The Japanese small rocket "Epsilon", which is scheduled to be launched two years later, will be equipped with a micro-satellite produced by the Tokuyama National College of Technology in Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

"Epsilon" is a small rocket developed by JAXA = Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency with the goal of launching a small satellite at low cost, and Unit 4 was launched in January last year.

A new rocket of "Epsilon" will be launched two years later, and the Tokuyama National College of Technology in Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, will develop a microsatellite together with five other colleges of technology and install it on the rocket. became.

The artificial satellite is named "Collaboration satellite No. 2 = KOSEN-2" and is made of aluminum alloy with a height of 22 cm, a width of 10 cm, and a weight of 2.9 kg.

After launch, we will exchange data with the antenna installed in the school building, and we will also conduct experiments to control the attitude of the satellite in outer space using the onboard fisheye camera.
