The singer Juan Meneses de la Vega, nephew of José Menese, of whom the next will be four years after his death, has died today in his hometown, La Puebla de Cazalla (Seville) at the age of 45, as reported by the City Council .

In its official social networks, the City Council has lamented that "today we have received the sad news of the death of the Moorish singer Juan Meneses de la Vega, born in La Puebla de Cazalla in 1975, in a familiar flamenco and artistic environment that permeated his day at day during his life, with his uncle the great singer José Menese as a reference ".

In addition to performances since 2014 in flamenco festivals, theaters, tablaos and peñas, he leaves two important record works: volume 1 of the Joven Cante Jondo collection , edited by the Droguería Music, and the album De anhelos, quebrantos and other cantes , recorded and presented at the Antonio Fuentes winery in La Puebla de Cazalla, in 2017.

"A terrible loss for his family, for his people and for the world of flamenco," says the City Council.
