These have the two words spoken yesterday by the President of the Republic to the attention of the armed forces for their commitment during the health crisis linked to the coronavirus pandemic. On Monday, Emmanuel Macron paid first tribute to the military community, gathered in the gardens of the Hôtel de Brienne, for their contribution to the fight against the pandemic in the context of Operation Resilience.

9:07 am: Make way for a small July 14 with a parade of the Parisian armies, closed to the public but broadcast on television

Covid-19 epidemic obliges, the traditional parade of the armies in Paris, for the national holiday of July 14, is replaced this Tuesday by a ceremony in reduced format, which will honor the soldiers and civilians mobilized during the health crisis.

With the theme "a committed, united and united Nation", this Parisian ceremony presided over by the Head of State, Emmanuel Macron, will particularly highlight the participation of the armed forces in the fight against the coronavirus within Operation Resilience, before ending with a wider tribute to caregivers, to the sound of the Marseillaise. The Patrouille de France will make an exceptional second visit in their honor.

Hello everyone on this very special July 14th. I am with you for a good part of the day, for the first military ceremonies, then the interview with the Head of State at around 1 p.m., before arriving slowly at the few fireworks maintained in France, despite the coronavirus crisis.
