Humans have been able to cope with a number of diseases without developing a vaccine for them so far, which represents a glimmer of hope for the world in light of the crisis of the spread of the emerging corona virus, although there are many countries that have started developing their own vaccines.

"Times of India" says that some of the deadly diseases that hit the world have disappeared while some countries were able to contain them before they turned into a pandemic.

The site said that there are 4 types of diseases that humans have been able to cope with:

1- acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)

They appeared in China in 2003, and they had symptoms similar to the ones of the emerging coronavirus, and they belong to the same family of coronaviruses, and although the world is seeking to develop vaccines, the end of the virus happened by itself.

2- The Mers virus

Known as the respiratory syndrome of the Middle East, it is a deadly epidemic similar to the emerging coronavirus, and its end was in 2012 through preventive measures.

3- Acute encephalitis

It is a fatal disease that killed more than 44,000 people between 2008 and 2014 and still represents an infection in general, with a death rate of about 6 percent, because it can cause damage to the nervous system and the brain.

4- HIV / AIDS

This deadly virus is one of the most dangerous viruses affecting 36.9 million people worldwide, and its spread dates back to the 1980s.

And most countries of the world have managed to reduce the spread of infection with preventive measures while the world is still searching for a vaccine to protect people from it.
