The Satanic Temples lawsuit totaled $ 50 million and was targeted at Netflix and Warner Bros. in early November. The company has previously accused the series of copying a satanic statue of a god named Baphomet, and damaging its reputation by allowing it to symbolize evil.

The Satanic Temple will be allowed to appear in the captions on sections of the series that have already been filmed. The other terms of the agreement between the various parties are not disclosed.

Lucien Graves, founder of The Satanic Temple, writes in a blog post that he received a lot of hate emails regarding the organization's lawsuit. According to Graves, several of those who heard of the situation perceive that "a large, powerful satanic organization uses its power to bully an insecure and innocent teenage witch". Something that Graves is facing.

He also accuses the media of pretending that the dispute was "unique, significant or even interesting" and calls it "one of the most overpublished copyright claims ever".
