According to Li Yunhao, from the cause of the fire, electrical causes (373 cases, accounting for 36.64%), foreign fire sources (159 cases, accounting for 15.62%), careless use of domestic fire (141 cases, accounting for 13.85%), and leftover fires (117 , Accounting for 11.49%), ranking in the top four. Li Yunhao reminded the public to pay attention to the use of high-power appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and electric ovens in homes and offices, as well as long-term, high-load operation and overload and aging of fire hazards in large-scale equipment of high-temperature equipment in production and processing enterprises.
Li Yunhao said that the electric bicycle fire needs special attention. In the first half of the year, there were 91 electric bicycle fires in Beijing (including 12 electric bicycle battery fires), accounting for 9% of the total fires, including 3 dead fires. Four people were killed. Compared with other fires, electric bicycle fires have developed rapidly and have a very high fatality rate.
He reminded the public to purchase qualified products from regular channels, perform regular maintenance, do not charge indoors or fly over the line, and clean electric bicycles from corridors, stairs, safety exits and other areas to relatively safe outdoor centralized storage points.
It is reported that from the point of view of the fire, the first place is the residential dormitory fire (526 cases, accounting for 51.67%), the second is the transportation fire (183 cases, accounting for 17.98%), and the third is garbage and Waste fires (80, accounting for 7.86%); catering establishments and commercial fires are also relatively prominent, with 31 and 20 occurrences, respectively; the remaining various places (office, agricultural and sideline establishments, etc.) total 178.
Li Yunhao said that from the statistics of fires in recent years, fires in residential quarters such as residential dormitories have always ranked first, especially during the current epidemic, people's home isolation, increased use of fire and electricity for living, and incomplete cleaning of combustible debris increased the risk of fire in time; at the same time In summer, high temperatures can easily lead to the aging of vehicle tires, oil roads, and circuits, which can lead to fires in vehicles. In summer, restaurant business hours are relatively long, and fires are prone to occur frequently. Kitchen oil flue fires spread quickly and the smoke is large, which is easy to cause social impact.
