This water level is on par with the fourth-highest water level ever recorded on July 22, 1996.

  Since entering the May this year, Wuhan has experienced multiple rounds of heavy rainfall. Due to the impact of rainfall and upstream water, the time of over-defense in Hankou Station (Wuhan Gate) is 12 days earlier than last year.

  The river water continued to rise. At 7 a.m. on the 7th, the water level reached the 27.30-meter warning line and exceeded the highest water level in 2016 on the 11th.
