According to Nagano Prefecture, a new infection was confirmed by a male employee in his 30s in Tokyo who owns a house in Karuizawa.

The man had symptoms of fever and cough while staying in Karuizawa on the 10th of this month, so he consulted with the public health center and was examined. Men are mildly ill and are admitted to medical institutions in the prefecture.

It means that a man had traveled back and forth between Tokyo and Karuizawa multiple times in the beginning of this month, and was attending a dinner in Tokyo on the 6th of this month. Of the 6 people who participated in the dinner, there are two other people who have symptoms, so the prefecture is investigating the detailed route of infection as it may have been infected by a dinner in Tokyo.

So far, four male contacts have been identified, including two families living in Tokyo and two acquaintances in Nagano Prefecture, and none of them have symptoms.
