Affected by continuous heavy rains, the Kotihe River in Huangmei County, Hubei Province recently suffered a breach of nearly 20 meters. After the disaster happened, the mobile detachment of the Armed Police Hubei Corps immediately launched an emergency plan, dispatched more than 500 troops, and carried more than 1,000 sets of rescue equipment such as life jackets and shovel.

  After arriving at the scene, the officers and soldiers divided their troops into three groups according to the actual situation, and cooperated with each other to carry out tasks such as loading sandbags, carrying sandbags, and strengthening sub-dikes. After 6 hours of continuous operation, a rescue channel of more than 150 meters was opened, more than 130 steel pipes were nailed, and more than 20,000 sandbags were moved. The danger was effectively controlled.
