According to the monitoring data of the Yangtze River Hydrological Network, as of 18:00 on July 11, the water level of the Hankou Station in the Wuhan section of the Yangtze River has reached 28.44 meters, becoming the fifth highest water level in history since the hydrological record, a new high in 21 years. Although the water level continues to rise, the lives of Wuhan citizens in the dike are in order.

  The Wuhan Flood Control and Drought Relief Command Office predicted that on July 16, the water level of Hankou Station will rise to 29.2 meters, reaching the third highest level in history, second only to 1954 (29.73 meters) and 1998 (29.43 meters).

  Since entering the May this year, Wuhan has experienced multiple rounds of heavy rainfall. Affected by rainfall and upstream water, the water level of the tributaries of the Yangtze River and Lianjiang jumped from the end of June. On the 11th, the water level of the Hankou Station in the Wuhan section of the Yangtze River climbed all the way from 8:28.29 meters to 28.44 meters at 18:00.
