Al Watan Fund launched the middle stage of the "Emirati Programmer" initiative in the Al Dhafra region, during a virtual session remotely, under the title "Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and the" Python "language for programming, with the aim of preparing a creative generation of Emirati programmers to keep pace with the requirements of the accelerating labor market.

The course is organized with the support of ADNOC, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Department of Education and Knowledge and Community Schools in Abu Dhabi, and more than 300 distinguished male and female students from the first stage of six schools in the Al Dhafra Region participated in it.

The course, which is organized by the Al Watan Fund, through the global educational platform “Tinker”, lasts 10 days, from today to 23 this month, and aims to qualify students of Al Dhafra region, so that they can learn the basics of developing digital applications, electronic games, programming of robots, artificial intelligence and the Internet of things.

During the past two years, the "Initiative" contributed to the graduation of about 1,000 students from six community schools throughout Abu Dhabi.

Acting General Manager of Al Watan Fund, Ahmed Mahmoud Fikry, said: “The launch of the intermediate stage comes from the Emirati programmer in Al Dhafra, out of our keenness to take advantage of students' times and arm them with skills that enable them to keep pace with the necessary artificial intelligence developments in the future economy and labor market.”
