Right now, the 82,000 mu thin-shelled walnut base in Daijunling, Yuguan Town, Neixiang County, Henan Province has achieved great success. This walnut base with the largest continuous planting area in Henan Province is formed by a series of more than 150 kilometers of industrial road loops connecting five surrounding villages to form a complete walnut planting and processing industrial chain.

"Good scenery along the way, full of pecan fragrance" has become a beautiful scenery line on the poverty alleviation road of local industries in Yuguan Town.

Speaking of Henan in Central Plains, people usually think of Songshan Shaolin Temple and Shaolin Kung Fu. In fact, there are "road construction efforts" that can't be underestimated in Henan.

"If you want to get rich, build the road first." Since the reform and opening up, Henan people have used the "embroidered needles" to build a well-off road to prosperity in the Central Plains. These "xiaokang roads" like "capillaries" spread all over the Central Plains, or hang on the waist of the cliff, or hover on the top of the mountains, or over the rivers and lakes, or connect villages and villages.

Today, Guoliang Village, Huixian City, Henan Province receives more than 1.3 million tourists each year, many of whom are heading towards the wall-hanging road of Taihang Mountain leading to Guoliang Village.

Thousands of feet stood on the top wall, and the abyss was at his feet. In 1972, in order to get out of the mountain, the villagers of Guoliang Village dug a 1,300-meter-long wall-hanging road on the cliff of Taihang Mountain for five years. The original way out of poverty has now become a way for Guo Liangcun to get rich.

There are many wall-mounted highways like Guo Liangcun in Taihang Mountain. Pei Chunliang, secretary of the party branch of Peizhai Village, Zhangcun Township, Huixian City, said that the wall-hanging highway not only let the villagers say goodbye to the difficult life isolated from the world, but also become a precious tourist resource.

In the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Rural Roads of 2019" selected by the Ministry of Transport of China, Linshi Road is the only road nominated and recommended in Henan Province.

Linshi Highway is the only main road for villagers in Shibanyan Town of Linzhou City to get out of the mountain. It was originally a mountain road built by the villagers of Slate Rock in 1997, which was rebuilt to become the "most beautiful rural road".

"Without this road, it will take at least one day to get out of the mountains when you go out to catch up." Wang Fuchang, secretary of the Party Branch of Shibanyan Village, said that now, Linzhou City can be reached in half an hour.

The transportation is convenient, and the scenery of Taihang in Shibanyan Town is gradually known to the outside world. The originally closed mountain village has become a resort for leisure travel and sketching.

At the end of 2019, Shibanyan Town received 14,000 people of various types of sketches, and also provided nearly 5,000 jobs, helping 276 people from 155 poor households.

As a major agricultural province in China, the construction of rural roads in Henan is inseparable from the development of rural industries and the increase of farmers’ income.

According to the data of the Department of Transportation of Henan Province, in 2019, the total mileage of highways in the province will reach 270,000 kilometers, including 232,000 kilometers of rural roads. In 2019 alone, the province has built, renovated and expanded more than 10,000 kilometers of rural roads.

Official Henan data show that in 2019, 687,000 people have been lifted out of poverty and 1,169 poor villages have withdrawn. At the end of February this year, the last batch of 14 impoverished counties in Henan Province also all achieved poverty alleviation.

"Highway + Poverty Alleviation", "Highway + Industry", "Highway + Tourism"...A series of rural roads like "capillaries" continue to extend, bringing popularity and wealth to rural areas and becoming an "accelerator" for the revitalization of the Central Plains. (Finish)
