The Infectious Diseases Control Department will have three sections, which will be established on the 13th of this month with about 100 staff members.

Specifically, the “Planning Section” is in charge of overall coordination of the entire department, and the “Quarantine/Information Management Section” is in cooperation with the public health center to collect patient information for investigation and analysis.

The "Business Promotion Section" will be responsible for adjusting the hospitalization of patients, improving the examination system, and installing and operating accommodation facilities for those who are mildly ill or who do not have symptoms.

In addition, in order to promptly take measures against infectious diseases, we will newly establish a director's post in charge of the “Infectious Diseases Control Department”.
