China News Agency reporter Zhang Xiaoxi

The "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Maintenance of National Security" has been formally promulgated and implemented. In the past year, due to the impact of the "revisions", many people in Hong Kong have been kicked off or even "private" because they opposed violence and supported the police. In an interview with a China News Agency reporter, they said that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s National Security Protection Act has restored peace and stability to Hong Kong society, and "finally waited until this day."

In May this year, Chen Ziqian, a lawyer who was besieged by radical demonstrators in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, has recovered substantially from the wounds on his body, but for the reason, he said, "You gangsters, don’t run, the police will come to arrest you. "Being "private" experience, he still has a lingering fear.

"Because it always hits my head, I still sometimes look at (scars), and I still feel a little uncomfortable in my heart, and sometimes I think when I look at the scars," he told reporters.

Talking about the legislation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to safeguard the national security law and formally promulgate and implement it, Chen Ziqian said: "Because I have been "private", I feel that the country has finally protected us, and many people may not feel so deep, but this is my heart. Feeling."

As a lawyer, Chen Ziqian believes that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s National Security Law is a good thing for Hong Kong, which blocks the legal loopholes that existed in Hong Kong and has a certain deterrent effect; and, this law only targets a small number of offenders. For ordinary citizens of Hong Kong, life will be better protected. It can be said that it is Hong Kong's "Ding Hai Shen Zhen".

In his view, "one country, two systems", only "one country" security, "two systems" can be guaranteed, Hong Kong can not become a "bridgehead" against the chaotic port. "Hong Kong is such an important place for the country and an international financial center. The national legislation is to hope that Hong Kong is good. I hope more Hong Kong citizens can understand it." He said so.

Li Kaihu, another owner of Hong Kong's "one person tea restaurant" who was affected by the "revision incident", said in an interview that she was very moved when she heard the news of the National Security Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and she felt "finally waited until this day ".

In June last year, Li Kaihu was maliciously attacked and reported online after taking part in a police campaign and bringing back slogans to hang in the store. The tea restaurant business also fell into a downturn. But she has never given up her principles and has gradually gained the support of many Hong Kong people and compatriots in the Mainland over the past year.

Li Kaihu believes that with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s National Security Law, Hong Kong will be able to restore stability and tranquility, with a positive impact on the entire society.

She hopes that after such a storm, some young people in Hong Kong can reflect on their own behavior and see if they have done something wrong. She will also continue to oppose violence and support the police, believing that under the protection of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's National Security Law, Hong Kong's future will get better and better.

"I have confidence in the law and the country." Li Kaihu said.

Since the "revision incident", not only have serious problems such as "privateness" and bottoming up, but also the lives of ordinary Hong Kong people have been affected.

Hong Kong young musician Ding Zhengkai told reporters that due to the impact of violence in the past year in Hong Kong, many performances were forced to be cancelled, which had a certain impact on his personal work.

"There is also a sense of fear in the public, that is, the occurrence of social events, along with a bottom, human search, etc., like my family will also worry about these situations." He said.

In Ding Zhengkai's view, the legislation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to safeguard national security laws is necessary, and it is hoped that the implementation of this law can define a clear bottom line to prevent violence or even split the country from happening in Hong Kong.

As a youth after the "95", he also said that many young people in Hong Kong do not have a deep understanding of the mainland and the motherland. He hopes that in the future, more Hong Kong youths can enter the mainland and understand the development of the motherland. Only in economic development, it also includes all aspects of the political system and the construction of the rule of law. "Only in this way can we eliminate prejudices and correct some wrong ideas," he said. (Finish)
