Hollywood star Johnny Depp accused his ex-wife, Amber Hurd, of lying about hitting her, saying to the London Supreme Court on Tuesday that she was the one who actually threw him in a bottle.

Deep, 55, the star of Pirates of the Caribbean (Pirates of the Caribbean), is suing the News Group NewsPapers, which publishes The Sun, and its chief executive editor, Dan Wooton, for defamation over an article Wutton wrote in 2018 describing Deeb as "a man hitting His wife. ”

The newspaper's lawyers said they would show that the allegation was true, and that it hit the actress Hurd, which made her fear for her life during his violent anger caused by alcohol or drugs or sometimes when he was falsely accusing her of treason.

In his testimony as a witness, in which he described his ex-wife as very narcissistic and dishonest, Deeb said: “Without any doubt, I have never mistreated Mrs. Hurd or any other woman in my life.”

In a written statement outlining Deb's case, his lawyer David Sherborne stated that Hurd first published allegations of abuse in May 2016, saying that it was difficult to contemplate allegations of abuse "more extreme or violent" than they might present during the trial.

"The plaintiff's position is clear," said Sherborne. "The allegations of Mrs. Hurd are all lies. The plaintiff was not violent towards Mrs. Hurd, it was she who dealt with him violently."

When asked by attorney Sasha Wass, Deeb admitted that he had taken "all medications known to man" since he was young until he was 14 years old,

He added that he suffered from a difficult childhood and also adapted with difficulty to his fame and success.

The court was shown a video of Hurd, taken by her mobile phone, and Depp showed himself angry as he slapped the doors of the kitchen cupboard.

"I can only say that I was annoyed, very annoyed," replied, adding that watching the recording was a disturbing experience.

In response to attorney WAS, Deeb denied that "extreme anger is a bad side (of his character)." In his testimony, Deeb stated that Hurd threw him in a bottle, which caused his finger to be hit.

Judge Andrew Nicole said the case would last for three weeks.
