In connection with the worsening management of medical institutions under the influence of the new coronavirus, Chairman Nakagawa of the Japan Medical Association expressed his desire to seek further financial support from the government.

Due to the influence of the new coronavirus, the deterioration of management has not been stopped at medical institutions around the world, because the number of patients who are outpatient or hospitalized due to fear of infection has decreased.

In connection with this, Chairman Nakagawa of the Japan Medical Association said at the press conference, "There are also reports that there are medical institutions that are planning to reduce the summer bonus to zero. Then we have a complete vicious cycle and we need to take action early."

He said, "It is expected that patients will not easily recover from receiving medical attention, and additional support is essential. We would like to ask the government to invest all possible resources to protect medical institutions." He expressed his desire to ask the government for assistance.
