Did you miss the news for this early morning? We have put together a summary to help you see more clearly.

At the "Ségur de la santé", Jean Castex offers a billion euros more

Little surprise Tuesday evening at the "Ségur de la santé": Prime Minister Jean Castex invited himself to a meeting with the unions. By getting directly involved in the file, he thus wishes to "conclude" the negotiations quickly, with a "memorandum of understanding" finalized by Thursday. For this, he did not arrive empty-handed. The Prime Minister announced an extension of more than a billion euros for wages and added "employment issues" to the menu of negotiations. The unions are not yet completely convinced.

US officially withdraws from WHO

In view of the recurrent attacks by the tenant of the White House against the institution, one could suspect that the announcement would soon fall. So it's now official: President Donald Trump has withdrawn the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO), which he accuses of having mismanaged the coronavirus pandemic, an American senator announced on Tuesday. The notification will be effective at the end of a period of one year, that is to say on July 6, 2021. This departure will have direct consequences for the organization, the United States being its biggest contributor.

Congress received notification that POTUS officially withdrew the US from the @WHO in the midst of a pandemic.

To call Trump's response to COVID chaotic & incoherent doesn't do it justice. This won't protect American lives or interests — it leaves Americans sick & America alone.

In Bayonne, the minister denounces "an unprecedented and shocking drama"

The Minister for Transport, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, went to Bayonne on Tuesday evening to meet the employees of Chronoplus. On Sunday evening, their colleague Philippe, was kicked and punched in the head by four individuals, and left unconscious at a bus stop. He is still brain dead.
