After further verification by the official, the landslide caused a total of 79 households and 320 people in 3 village groups in Shiban Village Tianbao, Chenjia and Shijia (including 162 at home and 158 out of home), 19 houses were buried, 60 households The house was damaged.

When the reporter went to the scene of the accident, there were landslides along the road from time to time. Some sections of gravel and trees occupied one side of the road, and only one-sided vehicles were allowed to pass through. In Shiban Village, Tongcun’s roads were temporarily interrupted by landslides. The personnel going to the rescue can only detour or walk from the Panshan Trail to the scene to rescue.

Due to the impact of rain, rescues on the spot were intermittent. Cai Feiju, deputy team leader of the Songtao County Fire Rescue Brigade, Guizhou Fire Rescue Corps, told reporters from China News Service that after we arrived at the scene, we were going to cross the landslide area and enter the core area for rescue. But the scene is still further collapsed, we entered the core area from the other side of the collapse for rescue.
Cai Feijuo told reporters: "The rescue on site is more difficult, and the house collapsed more seriously. Due to the large amount of precipitation and the loose soil, it is not conducive to rescue. Although the difficulties are heavy, the fire department will not give up any hope on the scene."
The Guizhou Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps mobilized a total of 27 vehicles, 117 people, 8 search and rescue dogs, and carried rescue equipment such as life detection and demolition to the scene. At present, firefighters have arrived at the rescue site and are using ropes, kayaks and other equipment to rescue near the core area of the landslide.
