On July 7th, in order to flood the reservoir, the Xiaolangdi Reservoir of the Yellow River continued to open its gates and discharge sand. The water-flowing waterfall surrounded by a large amount of sediment was like three yellow dragons spraying out from the mouth of the sand discharge. The scene was spectacular. Since the Yellow River entered the flood season on July 1, the Xiaolangdi Reservoir continued to open floodgates to regulate water and sediment. It is expected that this round of water and sediment regulation will continue until early July. Photograph by Jia Fangwen
