Chad: "We cannot return legislative elections to Greek calendars"

Repeatedly postponed for five years, the legislative elections in Chad, which were to be held in December, were finally postponed to October 24, 2021, six months after the presidential election of April 1. The G24 of the opposition political parties published a press release Monday: it rejects this new calendar. Member of this G24, Mahamat Ahmad Alhabo is secretary general of the PLD, the party of the opponent Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh, disappeared on February 3, 2008 after his abduction.
