On July 7, the National Advanced Examination for 2020 kicked off. At 5:40 in the morning, the vehicles escorting the test papers arrived at the Admissions and Examination Center in Haidian District, Beijing, and began to collect the test papers for the day's college entrance examination.
According to the police, in order to do a good job in ensuring the safety of the high test papers, this year the manpower plus technology method was used. Every test center school escort task is undertaken by the police. During the storage of the test papers in the secret room of the test center, the police will take care of the whole process . At the same time this year, a full-process monitoring and supervision system for the high-examination papers was also launched. From the collection, storage, escort to the candidates’ table, the entire process is intelligently monitored, and the flow of each step of the test paper can be displayed on the system of the test center. As of 6:30, the examination papers of 18 test centers in Haidian District were basically received.
According to statistics, the number of applicants for the national college entrance examination in 2020 was 10.71 million, an increase of 400,000 from last year. There are 17 examination areas, 132 examination sites, and 2867 college entrance examination venues in Beijing. 49225 candidates will participate in the college entrance examination.
