Blocking the pivotal age

According to Philippe Martinez, the choice of Jean Castex does not really change the situation. "It is not a question of casting, it is a question of scenario", answered the union leader concerning a possible evolution of the government on the question of the pivotal age, dear to former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe . "But the President of the Republic is almost a matter of principle of his pension reform which is unfair, which will keep more employees working longer and will prevent young people from finding work," he said.

Faced with the multiplication of announcements of job cuts, notably at Airbus, Air France, Renault and Nokia, Philippe Martinez also pleaded for an "inventory of aid to companies" in order to condition them for the maintenance of employment.
