Three-minute textbook-style first aid successfully saved the lives of the people! A few days ago, a rescue video from the Xianyan Police Station of the Ouhai District Public Security Bureau received full screen praise. In the video, the policeman performed a drunk man's chest compressions, artificial respiration, and back vomiting in one go. It was his cardiopulmonary resuscitation method that promptly grabbed the golden first aid time for turning the crisis into a safe one.

At about 24:00 on the evening of June 30, Zhang Qinghe, the on-duty police officer of the Xianyan Police Station, received an alarm saying that someone was drunk and fell into the river. At that time there was light rain outside, and the temperature dropped at night, drunk and falling into the water was very dangerous. The police immediately dispatched the police and arrived at the scene as quickly as possible.

When the police arrived, the man who fell into the water had just been rescued from the water to the shore by his friend. At the same time, he also found that the man had dilated his pupils, shouted, and lost his consciousness. His breathing and pulse were very weak. The police immediately performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the man and snatched the golden rescue time.

The video shows that the policeman knelt beside the man, pressed his fingers tightly against the man's chest, and pressed with high frequency and combined with artificial respiration. Under continuous cardiopulmonary resuscitation, about 3 minutes later, the man suddenly spit out a water and slowly opened his eyes. Because the streetlights were in a trance and it was raining lightly, the man covered his eyes with arms from time to time. The police hurriedly held up their umbrellas until the ambulance arrived, and finally relieved.

Under the escort of the police, the man was taken to the nearest hospital for medical treatment by medical staff. Until his consciousness began to sober, the police hurried back to the police station to continue on duty.

According to the police, the man accidentally stepped on the ground and fell into the water on the way home after drinking with friends. Although a friend dived to rescue the man ashore, he found that the man had lost consciousness after landing and panicked for a moment, not knowing how to rescue him, and immediately called the police. Unexpectedly, just one minute passed, the police arrived at the scene to carry out rescue.

Medical staff said that if there is no civilian police to seize the golden rescue time in a timely manner and continue the cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the man, the man's situation may be very dangerous.

Ouhai Police Tips: Simple Operation Process of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Step 1: Initial assessment of the patient

  Judgment awareness:

Pat the patient's shoulders with both hands and ask: "XX, wake up", confirm the patient's loss of consciousness, no response, immediately call for help.

Determine if there is carotid pulse:

Judge the presence or absence of carotid artery pulsation: Use the middle finger and index finger of the right hand from the mid-tracheal cartilage (larynx node), open two fingers aside, to the depression of the anterior margin of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation immediately after confirming no pulsation for 5-10 seconds . At the same time, judge the breathing and observe whether there are thoracic fluctuations.

Step 2: Implement cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

  Chest heart compression:

Part-the midpoint of the connection between the two nipples (the junction of the lower third of the sternum), use the left palm to closely adhere to the patient's chest, the two hands overlap, the fingers interlock, the left finger lifts, the wrist, elbow, shoulder joint Form a straight line, press down vertically with the weight of the upper body; press 30 times.

  Open airway:

The patient was placed in a supine position to quickly clear up the oral and nasal secretions. The head was used to lift the jaw and the airway was opened.

  Artificial respiration:

Mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration-pinch the patient's nose during insufflation, loosen it during exhalation, and lift the rib cage when blowing, with the mouth covering the patient's mouth twice.

Five cycles, that is, 2 minutes to judge again, whether the patient has carotid pulsation; whether spontaneous breathing recovered. If not, cardiopulmonary resuscitation will be carried out until professional medical staff arrive at the scene.
