Singer Pharrell Williams - Zuma / Starface

In search of new gospel stars, this is the concept launched by Pharrell Williams with Netflix. Voices of Fire will follow his uncle, Bishop Ezekiel Williams, in his quest for vocal talent in their hometown of Hampton Roads in Virginia. The goal is to form a gospel choir where all ages, all ethnicities and all cultures are welcome.

Pharrell Williams will be the executive producer via his company I Am Other, as Variety indicates, and he will also appear on the screen.

Several projects

The spread of Voices of Fire is expected this year on the streaming platform. And it's not the only project of the interpreter of Happy with Netflix.

Pharrell Williams is also in negotiations to create a musical on Juneteenth, the day of the end of slavery in the United States, celebrated on June 19. For this other project, the member of NERD teamed up with Kenya Barris, the creator of Black-ish .
