It is understood that the total investment of the second phase expansion project of Haikou Meilan International Airport is about 17.8 billion yuan, and a new highest-level 4F flight area, including a 3600-meter runway, can take off and land A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft. The newly built terminal area of T2 is about 296,000 square meters, which can guarantee the annual throughput of international passengers to reach 8-10 million passengers.
