According to the weather forecaster, the changeable nature of weather in Moscow is explained by the fact that Moscow is at the junction of cold and warm air masses.

“This year it turned out that the tropics are very hot ... Along the Caspian Sea through Astrakhan, Volgograd, this heat carries to Moscow ... If you look at yesterday’s temperatures, in the Astrakhan region it was almost +39 ° С, in Volgograd +37 ... + 38 ° S, Moscow was not so hot, but the heat still comes close. We are saved by the proximity to the Arctic, we have (near. - RT ) the Barents Sea, where temperatures are lower now, for example, in Murmansk +18 ° C, it is much colder there. When cold flows from there, it just saves us, ”explained the specialist.

Tsygankov added that hot weather is also expected next week, and noted that “on Thursday, July 9, we will get a little cool for two days, after which we will return to warm again”.

“Next week it will be partly cloudy, sometimes intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected on almost all days except Saturday. The wind will change from south to north, on Thursday there will be a cool wind ... Night temperatures will be in the range + 15 ... + 18 ° С, daytime temperatures + 28 ... + 30 ° С. On Tuesday, according to forecasts, - + 30 ... + 32 ° С, on Wednesday - + 29 ... + 31 ° С. On Saturday there will be cloudy weather, previously + 24 ... + 29 ° С, ”said the weather forecaster.
