Kanye West chose Cody, a city in Wyoming, to set up production for its Yeezy products. In addition to his partnership with Adidas for sneakers, Kim Kardashian's husband has just signed an agreement with Gap. This recent contract will allow Kanye West to install its entire production chain on American soil.

A spokesperson confirmed to Business Of Fashion that Yeezy plans to produce more than 1 million pairs of sneakers on site early next year. The production of clothes will come after.

The rapper's brand will have free rein in terms of creation when the textile giant will focus on distribution. A beneficial agreement for Gap whose health had been more than shaky for a few years. Indeed, the day of the announcement of this partnership, the Gap share jumped 42% on the New York Stock Exchange.
