  On April 29 this year, the "Yuzhang Academy Case" was held for the first time. In November 2019, Nanchang Qingshanhu District Procuratorate approved the arrest of Wu Junbao, chairman of Yuzhang Academy.   The trial mainly focused on the civil compensation cross-examination debate

  Luo Wei’s aunt attended the trial as a witness. She told the Beijing News reporter that Luo Wei had mental problems after receiving it from the school, and his family took him around for treatment. Luo Wei’s parents did not support him in the lawsuit. On the one hand, he was afraid of being retaliated. In addition, he did not pay attention to keeping the relevant evidence. Therefore, Luo Wei resented his parents, thinking that the parents sent him there and lost the key evidence.

  Wu Junbao said during the court trial that before Luo Wei entered the school, his family went to investigate and knew the school well. He believes that Luo Wei's psychological problems were not caused by the school. Prior to this, he had the idea of ​​"killing his parents", and his family could not be disciplined before being sent to the school.

  After the trial, Luo Wei told the Beijing News reporter that if the trial did not meet expectations, he would appeal.

  Later Yuzhang Academy took the initiative to apply for suspension. By November 2019, the Procuratorate of Qingshan Lake District, Nanchang City, approved the arrest of Wu Junbao, the chairman of Yuzhang Academy. On April 29 this year, the "Yuzhang Academy Case" was held for the first time.

  On June 4 this year, the victim Luo Wei submitted an incidental civil complaint to the Qingshan Lake District Court of Nanchang City. On June 9, Luo Wei was entrusted by another victim and also filed a complaint.

  According to previous reports, Luo Wei was brought up by grandma from an early age and had a cold relationship with his parents. In 2013, after the 20-year-old Luo Wei failed in the college entrance examination, Luo Wei smashed the walls and doors of his home due to school problems and his parents quarreled with him. After that, he was sent to Yuzhang Academy by his parents. In three months, Luo Wei lost 20 pounds. The grandmother went to school, saw him sallow and thin around the door, and cried a few times when he returned home. His father finally agreed to pick him up in advance. After coming out, Luo Wei had no way to live a normal life. The doctor diagnosed anxiety and depression.

  On July 3, Luo Wei's grandmother also testified in the court trial that he had a mental illness, and he helped Luo Wei buy therapeutic drugs many times.

  In addition, Zhou Mou, the first victim to be reported online, also filed a criminal incidental civil suit. Xia Nan, an attorney representing Zhou, was entrusted with issuing the "Law on Criminal Complaints" to the Nanchang Police. Xia Nan believes that unless detained by law, Wu Junbao and others are also suspected of committing the crime of ill-treatment, guardianship, and caregiver, and even suspected of being involved in "black".

  It is understood that Zhou was unable to keep up with his studies due to illness, and once dropped out of school to play games at home. His mother tricked him to play in Nanchang and sent him to Yuzhang Academy. During three months in school, Zhou claimed to have been subjected to physical punishment by the instructor with a ruler and a dragon whip. After Zhou Mou came out, he also had serious psychological obstacles. His mother took him out to play, he jumped on the road, worried that his mother would send him to places like Yuzhang Academy. He then lived in a psychologist's house for more than a year, and gradually recovered his mental health.

  Luo Wei told the Beijing News reporter that of the 12 victims who have been included in the case, only 3 of them have filed an incidental civil lawsuit, and the other 9 have not been contacted. In the first item of their lawsuit, they all demanded that the defendant, founder of Yuzhang Academy Wu Junbao, apologize to the victim.

The Qingshan Lake Public Security Branch of the Public Security Bureau of Nanchang City investigated the case and sentenced Zhang Shun and Qu Wenkuan, two instructors of Yuzhang Academy, to criminal detention. In November 2019, the Procuratorate of Qingshan Lake District in Nanchang approved the arrest of Wu Junbao and others.   On the morning of July 3, some students waited outside the court for the trial results. A student who first reported to the police, "First Enlightenment" (screen name), told the Beijing News reporter that the last time she made a transcript after reporting to the police was May 20, and has not yet been listed as a victim by the procuratorate. After leaving school, she was diagnosed with severe depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other mental illnesses.

  According to media reports, volunteer Lu Yinggang found that 70% to 80% of the students he walked out of Yuzhang Academy had mental disorders such as mania, depression, and anxiety. Many student families have scars originally, and after leaving the academy, they are far away from their parents and schools.

  After investigation, from May 2013 to November 2017, Wu Junbao, Ren Weiqiang and other people knew that the school did not have the qualifications to carry out psychology education and psychotherapy, and they still carried out activities related to psychotherapy and mental disorder treatment to the freshmen of the school without authorization.
