Exchange as much as possible

Many French people will be reuniting with their families this summer, sometimes with their children all day, as during confinement. To live this moment as well as possible, Christophe Bourguois first advises to make sessions of "collective feebacks", to unpack everything at the start of the holidays and start off on the right foot. "In families, children are usually given very little say. If you suffered during confinement and have something to say, it is absolutely necessary to express it. We go around in circles, and we say to ourselves, without interrupting, what we felt during the confinement. We must be listening. We must open a space for communication, "he continues. And the advice also applies to adults.

Promote activities

The coach also advises to encourage collective activities, while keeping moments for yourself. And this sometimes requires simple steps. "We watched a lot of news on television during the confinement," notes Christophe Bourguois. He therefore advises, for example, to turn off the TV "at 8 pm, from time to time" to vary the activities. He then suggests reading or learning a language with children, for example.

Do visualization

To be more relaxed, he recommends doing visualization. "You can cheat your brain," he smiles. Before detailing:

"You have to lie down in a very quiet place, put on some soft music and think of something. Take the example of a square of chocolate. If you focus on the texture of the chocolate, the packaging, you're going to have the taste of chocolate on the palate. This is the first step. Then remember a happy moment of confinement and visualize it in every detail. You will feel like reliving the moment and it will destress you " .
