Xiaohu wrote, "The passage of the National Security Law, to me... is like a relief." On the "Eleventh" day of 2019, when he was on duty outside the Tuen Mun Town Hall in Hong Kong, Xiaohu was heavily acided by thugs. After three operations including debridement and skin grafting, he recovered for nearly nine months.
