This year is the sixth year that the "Lantian Jade Seal" has accompanied the Western University students. As the name implies, the material used to make the seal is "Lantian Jade". For thousands of years, "Lantian Jade" has been loved by many literati and ink. It is named because of the Lantian Mountain produced in Shaanxi. "Lantian jade" is known as "Jade Seed Lantian". It feels extremely smooth and textured, and is easy to retain. It is reported that Northwest University has sent a total of 42,000 "Lantian jade seals".

The graduation ceremony is an important token bearing the spirit, culture and emotion of the school. Since 2015, Northwest University has adopted the "Lantian Jade Seal" as a graduation ceremony. When leaving school, graduates holding seals, using seals as letters, jade teasers, youth memories of joint struggle and common growth will be permanently fixed on the school's long history of running schools.

This year's seal is engraved with the four-character school motto "Community, Honesty and Plainness". The school badge and graduation year are engraved on the other side, and the student's name is engraved on the bottom. Therefore, this has become the most memorable and reserved memory for graduates.
