According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, two vessels of the Chinese Coast Guard invaded the territorial waters of Japan one after another at 4:00 pm on the 2nd, offshore of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture.

The two vessels sailed within the waters for approximately 30 hours and then left the waters by 10:00 pm on the 3rd.

During this time, the two vessels were repeatedly approaching Japanese fishing vessels operating in the territorial waters.

According to the Japan Coast Guard Headquarters, the time it takes for Chinese authorities to enter the territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands has become the longest since the government nationalized the Senkaku Islands eight years ago.

Off the Senkaku Islands, a total of four vessels by the China Coast Guard are navigating in the connected waters just outside Japan's territorial waters, and the Coast Guard Headquarters continues to warn and monitor them to prevent them from entering the territorial waters.
