At only 21, Achraf Hakimi already has quite a bit of experience. Whoever leaves the Bundesliga for Serie A in Italy is considered one of the best right-backs in Europe.

After two very good seasons with Borussia Dortmund, sold by Real Madrid, he arrives at Inter Milan. Neither Real Madrid nor Inter Milan gave financial details of the transfer. But according to Italian sports media, the operation would have ended around 40 million euros, plus bonuses estimated at five million euros. The player has initialed a five-year contract.

First Moroccan to wear Real Madrid jersey

“  Real Madrid and Inter have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Achraf Hakimi. The club wishes to thank Achraf for all these years of involvement, professionalism and for his exemplary behavior since he arrived at the training center in 2006. The club wishes him good luck in his new adventure,  "said a press release published by the Madrid club.

Achraf Hakimi had become the first Moroccan to wear the Real Madrid jersey, launched as a first team in the fall of 2017 by Zidane. He then took advantage of the absence of Dani Carjaval, and was established on October 2 against Espanyol Barcelona. “  Achraf was so involved that he didn't give the impression that it was his first game. It was spectacular. When Dani is with us, he will be second in the hierarchy and will play. I am very happy for him. It was his first game here at the Bernabeu. I am satisfied with his beginnings because for him it is an important day. He made a great match. He will remember it all his life,  ”said the coach.

“  The coach called me on the phone and told me that I was going to play, that I had to stay calm during the match. I am very happy with my debut in the best club, it is a day that I will never forget.  [...]  I worked every day to be there. My colleagues helped me a lot and playing with them makes everything much easier,  ”replied the person. With Zidane, the one who joined Real football school at the age of eight won the Champions League in the 2017-2018 season.

Twice voted Best Hope in CAF Trophies

The Moroccan international, ultra-fast offensive side, twice voted Best Hope in the CAF Trophies (2018 and 2019), was one of the Atlas Lions present at the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The following year, he was also in the group during CAN 2019 in Egypt. Under the orders of Hervé Renard, Hakimi, born in Madrid, honored his first selection against Canada on October 11, 2016 in friendly. He plays his first official match against Mali as part of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

In Dortmund, Hakimi largely held the "hut". Lucien Favre, the coach, made him one of the basic men of his devices on the right flank, whether in a defense with four or higher in piston when they passed to five. The Atlas Lion, flashed at top speed during the 2018-19 Bundesliga season (36.2 km / h), scored 12 goals, made 17 assists, spread over two years during his German adventure .

It’s a huge blow from the Italian side to win a world class player. Antonio Conte, who has been trying since last season to win again the title of Italian champion at Inter, should count enormously on him.
